JOCK KENNEDY PARK

Public BBQ

This scenic park is a tranquil retreat by the water, offering a boat ramp and clean facilities, including toilets and free timed BBQs. The park's ample space makes it ideal for family sports activities or a leisurely picnic, with the added convenience of being within a short walk to the main shops. Despite the lack of playground equipment, the park's surrounding views and the nearby mangrove sands provide a natural playground for kids. However, take caution with footwear due to some issues with lawn maintenance. Also, while it's a lovely place for dog walking, it's worth noting that dogs should be kept on leash. The park’s eroding foreshore could be a safety concern, but overall, it's a peaceful spot with a serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing walk or a boat ride.
